Kamal Haasan

Actor, producer and director, Kamal Hassan has been decorated with the highest honours in the country – including multiple National Film Awards, the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan. His works like ‘Hey Ram’ and ‘Dasavathaaram’, he has received commercial success as well as critical acclaim. He has now turned his attention to politics by launching his party, Makkal Needhi Maiam (People's Justice Centre) in Tamil Nadu. His movement aims at fighting corruption and achieving good governance in the state.
